Okay, is there a way to format the text on hyperlinks so that it is something
other than blue and underlined? I'd like to make it another color and have it
not underlined if possible.

Put a solid rectangle over the text, hyperlink the rectangle, then set the
fill and edge of the rectangle to 'no fill' and 'no line'. This way the text
will always remain the same.

Darkfireburning,
The colour can be changed but as far as I know not the underline. For the
colour go to the Color schemes task pane, click on the edit colour scheme
link at the bottom, you will find the switch for the hyperlink and followed
hyperlink as the two last switches.
As Martin suggested you can get past both by linking to a rectangle
positioned above the text.
