Hyperlinks in a protected document, HELP!

Hi,

Can any one help me ASAP, I have created a document that
I need young people to type into, but only in certain
areas. I need to lock/protect the document but then the
hyperlinks do not work!?!? Is there a way round this? I
am running on a really tight time deadline on this and
would really appreciate any help.
