For some unknown reason the frontpage extensions associated with my site were
correpted. technitions supporting my host reset the public_html directory to
a clean state, then reinstalled my frontpage extensions. When I republished my
pages appear on my site but all of the hyperlinks that allow a visitor to
navigate from page to page within my site disappeared. Any suggestions on
how to trouble shoot this problem

Can you post a link so someone can take a look??

Thank you rob: I published this from frontpage. I saved the entire contents
of my site to my c drive before the host's technicians reset my public
directory to a clean slate......Sorry if I'm not clear but I'm a luddite at
heart.

"Saved it" meaning what?,,,You made a copy?

You should have Published from wherever the good copy was/is.

If your local copy is working correctly by Preview in Browser do a full
publish up to the server again.

If not, Import those xxxx_over.gifs back into your local FP web Images
folder...do a Recalculate Hyperlinks then File | Publish Web/Site to the
server again.

You also may just want to look for those missing gifs...maybe you put them
in a different folder. In which case you'd just drag them out and plop them
back in to the Images folder...do a Recalculate Hyperlinks for good luck and
then Re-Publish up the the server.

Ok.

How have you applied the hyperlinks??
Are they in a shared border, an include??

Is there a frames page that is supposed to display the other pages??

Dear Steve: Thank you for your reply. I am very new to frontpage but will try
to answeer your questions.

The hyperlinks are in a shared border. This shared border had a link bar
that let site visitors get to other pages in the site. I can't seem to find
it on my current copy of the site.

As I look at each page in "Views" the shared border area displays the
following "add this page to the navigation view to display hyperlinks here"

thanks

Switch to Navigation and add that page to the navigation structure.
( View | Navigation )

In Navigation view make sure the page are under the home page and that it has a home icon in it
- also make sure your home page file name is the same as that required by your host
