Hyperlinks Disappear

In the menu section of my webpage, and while in the design mode, I highlight
the word, go to insert hyperlink, choose the page it should point (which is
the same name of the hyperlink) which goes to the address box. Then I click
OK. When I try to view the hyperlink in page preview the hyperlink has
disappeared. I have 15 items (hyperlinks) on my menu page and after making
each word a hyperlink (turning the word BLUE) they all disappear. I can
however, see all 15 items when I am on the index page in design and in
preview. This is driving me crazy. Please help so that I don't stay up
until 3 am today. Many thanks. I'll ask about the disappearance of my
picture in the banner next. This only happens in page preview
as well. Thanks.

Did you save the page before you switched to preview??

Thanks for responding! Yes, I did save the page in design and then again in
preview. I actually unlinked everything and started over to be sure. I then
tried to link only 3 of the 15. I started with the word home in the menu and
linked to the index. Then I highlighted my next word, linked to a new page,
added the name of the page and saved it. I then followed the same procedure
for the third link. When I click on the home page or the index in the design
view, I can see all of the items. I can see them in preview as well. Then
when I click on the next word which is holiday, I can see the word in the
menu, but when I click on preview that word as well as the other two words
are not available. They disappear. When I click back to design, they come
back. This is probably something so simple, but I just can't figure it out.
So yes, I did save the hyperlinks. Thanks again! HELP PLEASE.

Suspect the words "disappear" because your hyperlink colors (for visited links) are the same as your background color
When using bookmarks they are all visited when the page opens

Otherwise post a URL to the problem page online

Thanks for your response. I haven't applied any background color to the
page. The background is white, when I insert hyperlink the word turn blue.
In design the word/letters are blue but once I click on preview the words
disappear. Because I know the words are there, I can put the cursor on the
word (even though it's not there) and click on the word to go to the page
that I am looking for. They are not the same as the background color.

Check to see what color are applied to your hyperlinks, link, visited and active.
