Hi,
I need to be able to present a hyperlink on a company website and have users
simply click on that and have word open the document that the hyperlink
points to.
I have tried to use webdav to setup a web folder, but when the hyperlink
points directly to the document the document opens in internet explorer (I
want the document to open in word). I do realize that I can set the file
type to open in a different window and the document will then open in word.
My question is if there is another method of causing the document from the
hyperlink to open in word simply by clicking on the link, or do I need to
change each client machine's file type in order to make this happen?
