Hyperlinks all go to Home Page

Problem: In messages, etc., hyperlinks do not go to their assigned
destinations but rather, all end up simply opening my home page. Has
anyonelse encountered this behavior and found a solution? Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks.

Rule out parasites.

Check this also.
It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
