Hyperlink to files

Hi,

I am creating a presentation that will be distributed.
I'm not sure of the best way to approach this. I have
several attachments that are talked about throughout the
presentation and I want to be able to click on the
Attachment name and go directly to the document. Should I
use a hyperlink to file? Don't I have to worry about the
user having each attachment file in a certain folder that
way?

Thanks in advance.

You will need to include all the files in the same folder as your
presentation BEFORE you create the hyperlinks. Also, you don't say what
sort of files these are but you will have to make certain the receiving
machines have the application required to open them.

Austin,

All the files are in the same folder. I'll convert the
word and visio files to pdf files. If I zip them all
together and tell the users to save everything to the same
folder, will the hyperlinks work?

Thanks. I just want to make sure I understand.

I would suggest that you create an autorun CD. That will make life
easier for your recipients. Since you have lots of linked files, Sonia's
Project Creator software would be a wise choice. There are links to it
here: http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00037.htm

And yup, your links would work on an autorun CD.
