Can I link to a defined named range in an Excel workbook or only to the
woorbook itself?

T.I.A.

Yes you can. when in the hyperlink screen, after you have
specified the excel workbook, click on the bookmark
button. You will be able to use your range name as a
bookmark. Basically, the code looks like this:

C:\My Documents\bob.xls#bob1

where bob.xls is the name of the workbook, and bob1 is
the named range within the workbook.
