I created an Access database (mde) to be linked to our
company intranet. The intranet team created a hyperlink to
access the database which is located on our server. When
you click on the link the file download box is displayed.
The problem is once you select open the file and enter the
password, the database opens twice.
If you set a shortcut key (ctrl, alt, R) the database
opens to the the password box and operates correctly.
How can I get the link to open the database to the
password box and only open once? I've tried everthing I
could think of.
P.S. The link uses file protocol
