Hi,
I'm trying to create a hyperlink on a webpage I'm creating to
another site that has the info I want to display. The info that
I need to display is quite a ways down from the top
of the page. In order to avoid having to scroll down and
locate the info, how can I create the hyperlink that could
point it the this particular info I want to display.

thanks
noe

Use the "bookmark" feature.

I've tried the bookmark feature and I can't get it to work.
In the url window I place the url address
and then in the bookmark window I place the name that
will point down the area I want shown but
it stll shows the top of the page.

Unless you have access to the remote page on the other site to create a bookmark, then you can not
link to a bookmark, you can only link to the page.

If you don't have access to edit the other page, look at the code on that
page and see if the author has already bookmarked it (you'll see 'a
name=something' to indicate the bookmark) and hyperlink to an existing one.
Otherwise, you could contact the webmaster of the other page.

I don't have access to the remote page, that's what I thought was
the problem.

thanks for the replies

Since you can't control how a third party site webmaster has done the
navigation....etc. The best you can do is link to the page that contains the
info as has already been stated, however perhaps on your page, you can give
instructions, like "Scroll down 2/3 of the page to the information..." or,
ask the other site owner for permission to quote the information from their
site on yours....
