Hyperlink failure

I have a presentation created on my system which has
Windows 98 SE loaded. It has Powerpoint 97 version. The
presentation has lot of hyperlinks which works perfectly
well when I run the presentation on my system. But when I
port this presentation onto a diferrent machine which has
windows 98 FE the hyperlinks fail. I have tried both pack
and go option and also by copying the presentation file
directly. The hyperlink to set to various slides resets to
slide one in the second machine. It doesnt run with viewer
nor when it is run through powerpoint 97 on the second
machine.

Suggest what could be wrong and how to solve this problem.
Also kindly inform me if there is any file which I need to
port onto the second machine which takes care of the
action settings which is getting reset.
