Hyperlink acting squirrely....

Hi,
This morning, I started helping a co-worker update a rather large Access db
by creating links to photographs of inventory that we need to track. The
first link worked fine up to the 4th hyperlink field...then for no reason
that I could see, at the 4th link that I created, the links just "stopped"
working. The link can be clicked & it opens Photoshop like it had already
done, then nothing. When I checked the first link that I'd known for a fact
had worked before, now was no longer working. If it matters, I'm working
over a large lan. Oh, one more thing, if I cancel the warning box about links
being harmful for my computer, a warning comes up that says that 'Access
can't follow the link because it couldn't create the hyperlink object.'
Thanks, folks.

When I open the link to edit, something I'm guessing on my end adds a bunch
of characters to the link, like % and numbers. If I redo the link the same
thing happens. Talked to my co-worker who has direct contact to the server
where these files are located and he has no problems even with the links that
I've created from here.
