I'm creating a document with several pages. On the first
page I'm listing several names that I want to act as
hyper links to their photos several pages later. How do I
do this?

You could bookmark the photos and then insert a hyperlink where you want,
linking to the bookmark name.

To link to a place in the current document, you can use either heading styles or bookmarks in Word.

In the current document, do one of the following:
Insert a bookmark at the location you want to go to.

Apply one of Word's built-in heading styles to the text at the location you want to go to.

Select the text or object you want to represent the hyperlink

Click Insert Hyperlink

Under Link to, click Place in This Document

In the list, select the heading or bookmark you want to link to.

The easiest way to do this would be to format the names in a specific style
not used for anything else, then insert a TOC at the beginning to pick up
that style. The TOC entries are automatically hyperlinked. See
