Hi all!

I have been making test images for over three months now. Since some days I
have an interresting problem. When I create a new image just as usual and
run the dependencies check, I get hundrets of warnings. The system seems not
to be able to find almost any component file like wave.inf, wdaudio.inf,
etc. so no special tings, almost the standard components like directX and so
on.
I get no errors just warnings as a result.

When I then run the build process I get hundrets of errors.

Can this be caused by the evaluation copy of XP embedded? Maybe the systems
can not creatie images after the 90 days limit?

Please help!

Regards,

Philipp

I think I know what you are seeing. I've had this happen every once in a
while and seems that the repository gets messed up. I just re-install the
component database and repositiories, and re-build. This is a pain when you
have applied a lot of QFE's because each time this happens you also have to
re-install the QFE's.

This has nothing to do with the fact that you are using an evaluation
version of XPE. The tools don't time bomb. Only the bootable OS that you
create will time bomb once it's created/fba run.

Thanks, I gonna try this.
