Hi,
I am running IE 6.0 without any problem till this week. From now on, I can
not access any https site. I have checked the security settings, advanced
setting, reinstalled the IE, no success. Every time I want to open https,
there is The page cannot by displayed error message.
Any idea what shall I try? I do not remember anything what could go wrong, I
have a Norton Antivirus 2003 installed with updates.....

Thanks,

Petr

The Reason that your internet explorer 6 is not working
is that certain files have gotten corrupted and need to
be reregistered.

You can also get more info by looking in this
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 813444

Register .Dll Files
Re-register the following .dll files:
Softpub.dll
Wintrust.dll
Initpki.dll
Dssenh.dll
Rsaenh.dll
Gpkcsp.dll
Sccbase.dll
Slbcsp.dll
Cryptdlg.dll

To do so:
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type the following lines and press
ENTER after each line:
regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll
regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll

Click OK when you receive the message that
DllRegisterServer in FileName succeeded.
Type exit to quit Command Prompt.
