HTTPS Errors; Done 'Blank Page', buttons not responding

Running XP SP2 and IE6 and am getting a variety of issues (many already
posted by others) e.g. Hotmail page is blank after submitting user name and
password. Another relates to buttons/links which work ok on a http URL but
not the https equivalent (after logging on securely for example). These links
look like ".../bet?action=go_types&class_id=2" if that helps? I have reviewed
many related posts for hours and tried lots e.g. iexplore.exe /rereg,
removing addins, checked for spyware etc, downloaed latest Sun Java etc. to
no avail.

Am I beat - should I simply download Netscape?

Ive downloaded and run firefox - got the updates too - but when I try to
download anything from firefox it says 'blocked' - I'm so frustrated - I'm
running xppro - IE6 and allmy security tabs are set to enable java and
scripts ...nothing seems to help - have run all my adaware ect ..nothing..

if you think of anything I can do to get this thing working - would
appreciate it!

I spent most of today trying to get IE6 working and gave up. Luckily within
5 minutes of deciding to download Firefox, it's up and working a treat. Sorry
I can't help but good luck.

other types of content?

What's the exact "blocked" message? Do you have Norton Internet Security
installed?

after doing a HECK of a lot diffent things - it was ZONE ALARM - (pro
version 15 day trial) - I removed Norton Antivirus cause I thought that was
it - nothing - so uninstalled ZA - that did the trick - so I redownloaded ZA
free version, set the security to medium and everything works fine now...
wish I would have thought of that a week ago!!
