Hey guys! First post here :)

I wanted to ask anyone if they know the etailer listed as name. I am interested in the Evga GTX580 and they have it 50 pounds cheaper than the rest of the competitors. However I have never heard of the website before so I'm a bit worried about ordering from them.

Any info appreciated!

Hi Firann
Welcome to the forum. The site you mentioned is a genuine site and quite good. One of the other members on here uses it quite a bit. I am sure he will read this and assure you its all good :thumb:

Thnx for the fast reply Evan :)

As long as even 1 member vouches for them then I'm sold haha :)

I've used them for years and they've been ok but it is worth pointing out that several members here have had problems with them.

There are mixed opinons of OCUK.

I'd use them if they had a particularly good deal on but there are other suppliers I much prefer now.

I think you are talking about OverclockerS.co.uk not Overclock.co.uk :)

You are absolutely right, I was referring to Esnet Ltd.

I think I've bought one thing from, er, well, the one you're asking about (confusing innit?) and they were ok, as I recall, but it was a long time ago.

So, sorry, I have not a clue as to their goodliness :)

Overclock.co.uk has only ever gave me one reason to give bad feedback, but OCUK (overclockerS.co.uk) have caused alot of problems for myself and others on here, there is even a thread here somewhere just dedicated to OCUK.

I would say no site is perfect, but best sites I've used so far have been Amazon and Kustompcs, everyone has their preference.

Some may prefer OCUK, but thats because they havn't been screwed over by them yet.

Could get a faulty item from any site, but I guess it all comes down to how they deal with the problem to your satisfaction.

If I saved alot of money I'd use Overclock.co.uk as I feel everyone deserves a second chance, OCUK I'd stay clear of, but I rate Kustompcs and Amazon the best.

Amazon have a slightly limited range but they've had what I wanted like Corsair GT Dominator Memory, Corsair AX850W PSU, Antec 1200 case, LG Blu ray drive retail for £79.99 etc.

But if I was happy to pay a little extra, Kustompcs would get my custom as the service I have had from Graeme has been faultless.

We can all only give you our opinions, will be mixed but hopefully will make things a bit clearer for you.

Well as long as people have used them then I see no reason why not to use them as well! I mean an EVGA GTX580 for 400, 410 if you include shipping is much less than then next cheapest which is Scan 455 pre shipping costs!

They also have an active community in their own forum. This probably means that they have a good following and they trust Overclockers.

Well I did go ahead an order it on Sunday :)

Its at Interlink now and awaiting for the package to arrive sometime today! (x fingers!) :thumb:

[edit] never mind its here :)
