http:\\ will not be added automatically

when in IE 6 on a xp box, http:\\ wont be added after you type say
www.cnn.com. so i get a can't display page message. Howerver, my auto
address complete is checked, so when i type cnn and ctrl+enter, it
works as it should. this just happened a couple days ago. any ideas?

Try the .reg fix instead, unless someone can pick why the .vbs failed
on you.

http://patch-info.de/WinXP/Downloads/KB908531_Share-To-Web.zip

Unzip it, extract the .reg file to a folder, right-click it and select
Merge and confirm when asked.

Yes. it is fixed, it was HP's Share-to-Web software's problem.
