Can anybody tell how I can start a Powerpoint
presentation from my homepage? I like the presentation
to start and run automatically, without having to click
the mousebutton er Enter tab. When the presentation is
finished I don't know how to get back to the homepage.
Anybody? Please! Thnks in advance

To run a PowerPoint presentation on the web from your homepage, you might
want it to run in a new browser window - just add the target="_blank" option
to the link that opens your presentation online.

More often that not, PowerPoint online presentations are HTML output from
PowerPoint natively or using a third party tool like PPT2HTML
http://www.rdpslides.com/ppt2html/ - you might have to work with the HTML
code itself (that's almost impossible using PowerPoint's native output).

Other options include converting PowerPoint to Flash or WindowsMedia -
you'll find several add-in products reviewed at Indezine:

Before working out how, I'd first think carefully about why and whether it's
really such a good idea. Wouldn't it be better to give visitors a choice?
What if they're coming back to your site a second time? Do they have to sit
through the whole presentation again?
