http or ftp???

I am trying to download a file recovery software so I can retrieve a file I accidentally deleted from the recycling bin, but I have the option of downloading an http version or an ftp version? I don't know which one I am supposed to chooose...
 
FTP is usually faster but it really doesn't matter.

The application is of the same version, but one is hosted in FTP and other in HTTP servers [just like a mirror site]. You may choose any.
