I have a WinXP SP3 system which allows me to ping a server but won't resolve
URLs and display the page. I've tried both IE and FireFox, hard coding IP and
DNS etc. I've re-registered the IP stack and run TrendMicro's sysclean (found
Troj_kilav.nb), Spybot etc. I'm drawing a blank on this one. I figure if I
can ping the network adapter is working and the IP stack is up and running.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, been struggling with this for several
days now.
Thanks much!
