Hello all you hopefully helpful OL gurus!
I have been successfully running multiple POP3 accts with
OL for years now, but have to smoothly access my hotmail
accounts. I continually get server timeouts, no matter
what settings I use - download descriptions only, backing
off on the number of folders, etc. Outlook tells me to
search for [HTTP Mail troubleshooting] in help, but there
is nothing there specific to http mail. In fact the only
thing I found is that server timeouts are NOT adjustable
for http. I even tried removing my http accts from the
regular send / receive groups, then manually doing a
send / receive via Shift-F9 from their respective
folders...I still get timeout errors.
Interestingly, if memory serves, OL express was better at
http mail than the full OL, but I really don't want to
run two mail clients.
Can anyone help me overcome my timeout / resource not
found / no response from server etc etc problems with
http mail accounts in OL2k2 please!
Thanks in advance,
