Hi,
Your computer is probably infected with malware. See these sites for help,
including the posting of a HijackThis log to one of the forums where HJT
logs are analyzed:

Look for an "Important- Read this first" type message so that protocol is
followed and the process of analyzing the log works as designed.

Hope this helps,

Yea,

Got to agree with Don on this one since the owner of dnserror.org is
in CZ:

DNS error stands for Domain Name Server error. It may just be that those
sites are not up or are having problems and can be accesssed at a later time.
Try going to some pages that will work such as www.yahoo.com and
www.microsoft.com
Then if that works you will know that your computer is OK and there just is
a problem with that particular website.
Best regards,
Kaja

i have to disagree with kaja,
i have the same problem.
i get directed to dnserror.org every now n then, while using very
common websites like hotmail.com and google.com.

After opening yellow.co.nz this site appears:

http://dnserror.org/

This happens on more sites.

Anybody ideas how to fix this?

Cheers,

Harold

Probably your hosts file is hacked... even though you have deleted the
spyware who changed the file, the hosts file usually stays "infected".

if you have a windows machine and dont use the hosts file just delete
it. You USUALLY find the hosts file here: c:\windows\system32\drivers
\etc\

fiy: the hosts file is like a local dns-server that the computer
checks before going out on the internet to check the nameservers. By
adding a server/site-name with a different IP-address you can send
traffic for that site to a completely different server...
