HTTP 500 Internal sever error
Internet Explorer

"There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be
displayed."

I keep getting this when I go to a certain site but I am not sure if it is
actually because of the site or my computer because when it does this if I
restart my computer and go back the site works fine and I haven't seen anyone
else on the site complain about it doing this. Why exactly is it doing this
and is there a way for me to make it stop?

Hi,
The 832894 (MS04-004) security update (nearly 2 years ago) caused this
problem on some systems.
See: 831167 - You cannot log on to a Web site or complete an Internet
transaction, or you receive an HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=831167

For a few otther possibilities:
http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1&spid=2073
Search for "http 500 internal server error"

If that's not the problem, it's likely that the problem is on the server
side.
http://www.google.com/search?num=20....microsoft.com+http+500+internal+server+error
Shortened... http://snipurl.com/i6w2

Hope this helps,
Don
