http 404

when i try and search on the internet it says that the
file HTTP 404 is not found. what does that mean? and how
do i get it back?
 
well.. then how do i get it back? i did not delete it i
dont no what happened. so now i cant search sites or
anything.

If you get this error when trying to search you have a virus. Update your
Antivirus software and preform a scan.

"Doesn't exist anymore" doesn't mean that you deleted it. It means that it
it is gone from the internet. No longer available. Deleted or moved by the
owner of that page.

BUT... if you're getting this when you are trying to run an internet
search, you may have something else going on. There is a "bug" going around
called "Qhost" that hijacks your search page setting. Check out the
information on the page linked below. It explains what this is and how to
get rid of it:
