html tags

I`m not quite sure how to do that but I can paste the html code in here. No
matter where the html tag <marquee> is placed on the site in frontpage and or
in Publisher it takes control of the content of the site making gif`s and jpg
`s invisible.

I think I have cleaned it up now. Removed wordart and so on. Still after
using <marquee> gif`s wont show on site. Here`s the url

The end tag for the marquee is missing, as a result IE interprets the
HTML as having the .gif image inside the marquee, and it does not
display correctly.
Shows OK in FireFox.

I think I see the problem: you haven't closed the marquee with a closing
tag, it is missing </marquee> after the word "Years".

Some browsers seem to ignore that omission, but IE seems to have a problem
with it.

Space in folder name : <img border="0" src="Div%20bilder/enter.gif"
width="150" height="101"></div>
Although not directly related to the problem, it could cause other problems:
you should delete the space in the folder name which is in your IMG SRC tag.
Spaces in file names is not good practice. The "%20" indicates a space (as
in 'space-bar' character). Use an underscore, as in "Div_bilder".

So your img src tag is <img border="0" src="Div_bilder/enter.gif"
width="150" height="101"></div>. Do that for all images.

Other than that, I have tested your page in IE 7, Opera 9, Firefox 2 and
Netscape 8 with the following results: as the page stands at the moment,
pending suggestions above to fix the page:

IE 7.0.5730.11 : marquee works but GIF image doesn't show

Firefox 2.0.0.8: marquee and image work

Netscape 8.1.3 ("Display like Firefox"): marquee and image work

Netscape 8.1.3 ("Display Like Internet Explorer") marquee works, image
doesn't show.

Opera 9.0: marquee and image work

Note, the page is very slow slow loading even on standard 512k broadband
(ADSL), so there's some page tweaking still to be done.

Thank you guys for trying to troubleshoot this one for me. I have taken care
of all the issues you forwarded but mothing cut`s the mustard. Finally I
managed to get ONE gif visible together with marquee but as soon as I
inserted another one THAT one went unvisible. Any possible presets I`m not
aware of ?

Other than that, I have tested your page in IE 7, Opera 9, Firefox 2 and
Netscape 8 with the following results: as the page stands at the moment,
pending suggestions above to fix the page:

IE 7.0.5730.11 : marquee works but GIF image doesn't show

Firefox 2.0.0.8: marquee and image work

Netscape 8.1.3 ("Display like Firefox"): marquee and image work

Netscape 8.1.3 ("Display Like Internet Explorer") marquee works, image
doesn't show.

Opera 9.0: marquee and image work

Note, the page is very slow slow loading even on standard 512k broadband
(ADSL), so there's some page tweaking still to be done.

Are you sure you have to use <marquee>? It's an IE-only tag, so only
visitors using that browser will see the text the way you intend it.
(Firefox users are something like 15% of the population these days, and
growing fast.) Also, generally, people really dislike scrolling text. Unless
a client is insisting on it, I'd avoid it like the plague. :-)
