How do I use HTML special characters in the Hyperlink Address property of a
label? I want to set the hyperlink address at a MailTo but the subject is
cutoff at the first space. I have tried using

The example below results in the subject being set to "Hi" rather that "Hi
everyone"

mailto:[email protected]?subject=Hi everyone

Cheers,
Seth

Hi, Seth.
I want to set the hyperlink address at a MailTo but the subject is
cutoff at the first space.

Unfortunately, the space character in this hyperlink delineates the "end of
string." The good news is that Access 2003 will be able to use the space
characters in the subject line when you "Edit Hyperlink" for an E-mail
hyperlink, so this won't be an issue when you upgrade.

For your present version of Access, this might work:

mailto:[email protected]?subject=Hi%20everyone

Hi, Tina!

It's a perfect time to be working on the computer. It's too hot in the
daytime -- unless I want a huge electric bill for running the air
conditioning non-stop to keep the computers within a reasonable temperature.

Yeah, you deserve some rest. You've helped plenty of people on the other
side of the world with their Access questions while the rest of us were
sleeping. G' night.
