HTML Signatures

I would like to use an HTML signature to include in all of my customer
reps' outgoing e-mails. In particular, I want to include a picture
(optimized to be very small of course) of the rep and their
information immediately to the right of the picture. Basically what
looks like a business card with a photo.
I then want the photo to be a link to a web page on our site that has
more information about the rep.

I've created this and it all works fine when I send it to Outlook
clients. What I want to know is what are the possible ramifications
of doing this?

1)Is it possible that some mail servers might block my e-mail because
it 'contains' HTML?

2) Will some customers not see my 'business card' because their e-mail
client doesn't recognize HTML? If this is possible, are there a lot
of e-mail clients in use today that can't handle HTML (signatures)?
If so, is there a way to automatically have Outlook give an alternate
text-only signature?

These are the only issues I could think of, but maybe there are more.
Just looking for some advice.

Thanks,

Tim Rogers

1) Yes, but it's still rare, I think.

2) Yes. Some people simply prefer to get plain-text messages only. Outlook
automatically provides a plain-text representation of any HTML message.
