HTML / RTF

I have a cstom form that I use for recording project data and info. Sometimes
I call up a new instance with a command button in another form, and
sometimes I just call one up by selecting the form.

Now I'm getting a problem where sometimes I can edit a form's message body
just by opening it, and sometimes it is only possible if I select a menu
option to edit it. The other difference is that the ones I can edit seem to
be in RTF and the ones I can't easily edit seem to be in HTML. How does this
discrepancy arise in the first place? Can I get the form to always show in
RTF regardless of how it is created?

Thanks in advance

Vaughan

Sounds like your message format might be set differently at different times.

One way to force a form to always use RTF is to tie it to a Word template.
Make RTF your default message format, then open the form in design mode. Go
to the (Properties) page, set the Word template (it can even be Normal.dot)
and then publish the form.

Thanks Sue
