I have a client that sends certain files to be by email as Word documents.
Even though there is much extraneous stuff left in the html, I find that
opening the file in Word, then saving as 'Web Page, filtered' is
advatageous. After creating the html page, I import into FP and create a
link to it.
The problem is that once I have imported the page, I need to do some minor
changes to it (change the background color, for instance). When I
double-click on the page in FP, it opens in Word instead. Draging it into
the editing window works, as does right-clicking and choosing 'Open
With...'.
I don't understand this. Other html opens in FP, why not these? Once I make
the changes and save them, the page opens in FP just fine.
Any ideas how to change this behavior?
Thanks,
Harvey
