Hello Claudio
PowerPoint, through it's support of Active X controls, allows you to insert
web browser objects directly within a slide. Here is a KB article for
PowerPoint 2002 which describes how to use the Web Browser control in
PowerPoint:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;291926&Product=ppt
Of course, the Web Browser control will not work if you are using the
PowerPoint Viewer to display or distribute your presentation since the
viewer does not support the use of Active X controls.
If the ability for PowerPoint to include "live" HTML content within a slide
show (without having to use Active X controls, VBA or 3rd party add-ins) is
important to you (or anyone else reading this message), don't forget to
send your feedback to Microsoft at:
http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp
As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.
IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
