Can you right-click in the body of the message and choose View Source?

Yes i can but it shows the html source any easy way to converts
You can also double click on them one at a time. A new message will open
with the e-mail address in the To field.

But it will be unresolved so it will contain only the display name. That's
what happened to me when I tried it.

Brian,

I wonder what method you and the OP's sender was using to create the links.
I have created two different links in Outlook with Word as the e-mail editor
as an html message.
1. Link to the e-mail address of a person in my contacts list book (an alias
on my web server)
2. Link to the e-mail address of a person not in my contacts list (an alias
on my web server)

Then I created the same in FrontPage and copied the FrontPage file to the
clipboard and pasted into a new message.

When each arrived I was able to double click on them and the e-mail address
would appear in the "To" field as expected.
