I did a presentation in .ppt that consists of a 12 slides
but a lot of animation on each. I then converted it to
an .htm to post on a customers web page. Other than the
usual shutters and stutters it runs fine from a number of
computers that I tested it on at various location. That
is of course with the exception of the PC's at the
customer's office. There when I run the presentation each
slide flashes briefly on the screen and then moves to the
next. The server that the predentation is on comes from
my office. It's odd but the customers PC's are the only
ones that I have found on which this occurs. Anybody got
an idea?

Have you tried increasing the time between transitions to slow things down a
little. Is it possible for you to post a link to you htm file so we can get a
feeling of what is happening?

For the most part, it looked OK to me. Only one slide flashed and did not come
up full screen. It was the one before the locations. You might consider Glenna's
suggestion, or even have a look at:
Put your PowerPoint-generated HTML on the web
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00241.htm

The speaker you have on your first slide, can be dragged off screen so that it
does not show and the sound will still play, if your interested in doing
something like that.

If you would care to see the presentation it is at:
http://www.trace-co.com and the click on Aubout T.R.A.C.E.

The problem I'm most concerned with is that on the
customers pc's when I run the presentation I don't get
anything but a brief maybe 2 second static view of each
slide and the it changes to the next slide. No
aninmation, no nothing. I have also been told that when
my supervisor ran it from his home he got the same thing,
but those are the only two so far. Any ideas?

Glena makes another good point, I ran it from two different systems one with XP,
and IE6, and the other with win98 and IE6, with the same results on both. It ran
just fine for me.

I tried running it in Mozilla on Win2K, and the positioning wan't
normal. Wouldn't know what to expect on non-microsoft platforms (ie:
Mac or Linux)
