HTM associated with Word

This may seem like a simple question however I am stumped. I created several
webpages in Word, then opened them on another computer in Frontpage. In the
folder view they have an icon of Word. When they are opened they open in
Word not Frontpage. I can open them using the open with command in
Frontpage, however once the pages are saved and closed they are back to being
associated with Word. I even tried selecting all of a page in design view and
undoing the formatting in the format menu then saving, no luck. Please help,
I do not want to start over, thanks.

Don't use Word to create html, you just create more work for yourself trying
make it work and clean it up.

Definitely not a good idea to design pages with Word. They open as Word docs
because that is what they are.

You could of course salvage the text by placing it in Notepad and putting it
on a newly created FP page. You could copy images and paste them into FP as
well. I would avoid any images created with Word. Do any formatting with FP.
