I'm using Vista RC2 now, when I'm trying to install the driver for my HTC WM5
mobile modem (O2 XDA Neo), Vista gave me an error which is saying that "the
system cannot find the file specified". But this driver was working properly
and very fine in Beta2 and RC1.

I tried to download the files specified in the .inf file and copied to
system32\drivers fold, still I'm not able to use it.

Can anybody help me find a solution for this? I cannot understand why the
driver can work under Beta2 and RC1 but not RC2, if I'm not able to use my
modem I have to change back to RC1 I think, anyhow I have a ghost backup file.

I tried many many ways to solve this problem, I use driver backup softwares
to get a driver backup from Vista RC1 and then intalled in RC2, but failed.

At last, my friend got a software for me, the name is PdaNet, this software
should be installed on PC and Mobile both, if you want to connect to
internet, just connect your mobile to PC and sync it, don't active modem on
mobile, this point is very important, and then find the connect menu from
PdaNet, click, go surfing.

PS: it seams that noboy is having this problem except me, hmm, and M$ also
isn't working on it, who knows what happend to Vista RC2 modem drivers?? Hope
modem problem will be fixed in the commercial version.
