Has anyone gotten sex spam a day after ordering from atlaticinkjet?

Two seperate orders were places 2 weeks apart with two diffrent email
addresses. The same sex spam shows up. One email was dormant for over
a year and used as a backup only. I had a need to use it for my
inquiries with them.

Apparently they deal in more than just ink. I have not been to any
other site that requires email addresses.

Yes, they're widely known for ink and sex, you dufous. Get a life!

I haven't experienced that. Perhaps someone else gave out your email
address?

Brilliant, "Watson", you've figured them out; the jig is up! Yes, they
also sell condoms (in cyan, magenta and yellow), and those blue magic
pills for enlarging our "hand held devices". ;-)

Ah, but I needed a good laugh this dull afternoon.

I get 40 spam emails a day, and blaming them on Atlantic Inkjet is
just plain ludicrous. My sister has never been to Atlantic and gets
the same amount.

Most possible a conincidence. Viruses and free email providers and
forwarders are responsible for this email spams. Now on you will get more
than 20 emails a day...

I don't have any idea as to the origin of the spam, but it can be controlled
to some extent. I highly recommend getting a copy of Mailwasher. Free to
individuals, it's a great utility for filtering out unwanted emails.

Or better yet, don't give out your primary email address to anyone, even
your family or friends.

Instead, create a disposable secondary or tertiary address that you can
simply delete if you start to get spammed. For example, if your primary
address is (e-mail address removed), create a secondary account something like
(e-mail address removed) and use it until you get too much spam.

Personally, I currently don't get any spam at all (0%) because I'm very
careful about who gets to see my email address - it's a secondary
address too. And in the rare events in the past, like about two years
ago, when a friend gave a website my address and I started to get
spammed, I simply deleted it and created a new one. I then promptly
smacked them up-side the head and educated them on anti-spam procedures
so they wouldn't do it again. :)

LOL apparently they sell user information. You may want to read about
things like that. I have absolutely no junk or spam unless ordering
from atlantic inks. Perhaps their inks are used in tatooing. Yes, I
have a life and part of that life is used to not let these trash
companies walk all over consumers. I am guessing you are atlantic
related. So how much do you get for each name you sell? the basic
nickel per name rate?

Very interesting. Another order was placed with atlantic ink last
night. Another spam email received.

Here is whats interesting. I placed an order for a friend and used his
shipping information but my email as the contact mail. And guess what,
the spam email referred to me as my friends name to MY email address.

So there ya go.. I dont need any more proof than that. Atlantic sells
user information. I guess I will be ordering elsewhere in the future.
I do not deal with companies that buy and sell consumers to line their
pockets.

alotofthings.com looks like the better choice.

I too, and Bill, and many others use fine Atlantic Inks. Are we all
selling sex and ink under the table? Your childish paranoia is showing.
Give it a rest, no one believes you. Keep it up and you lose any
credibility you have left.

Well, I simply said they are selling customer information. It is a
common practice. You simply get more than what you pay for.

As far as credibility, the sponge paper you suggested is nothing to
brag about. Sorry, but I doubt you know what quality anything is. I
think people should beware of your suggestions. Unfortunatly, I took
your advice twice and was burned twice.

I'm done here. Warning to all. If you like sex spam and having your
personal information sold, DO USE ATLANTIC.

If you like low quality papers from someone inexperienced with
printing quality prints and knows nothing about photo editing, please
do listen to Taliesyn.

You are sopping wet as the paper you recommend. Clueless as well.
