Have older HP930C printer which is now stopping part way
through printing of a number of pages.
Worked well with older machine but has become
unpredictable on Windows XP on new laptop.
Help!

1. Physically disconnect your printer from your computer.
2. Open your Control Panel and uninstall any HP printer software
listed in the Add or Remove Programs applet.
3. Go to Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes, right-click
on any printer icons and select "delete".
4. Visit www.hp.com and download the latest Windows XP
compatible software/drivers for your specific printer model.
5. Install the software drivers per HP's instructions.
6. Reconnect your printer to your computer.

My problem with the HP drivers is that when a Word document has an envelope
attached to it, it prints only the left half of the document, repeating it
on the right side of the page. I uninstalled and reinstalled, then took the
printer back to the store and exchanged it for another, with the same
result. I don't think it's a "corrupted" driver, but rather a defective
driver, and I can get no satisfaction from HP support.
BTW, when the envelope is deleted, the document prints just fine.
