The kit had pickup and separation rollers and fuser. I installed all.
The printer is a dtn, and I installed the new pickup rollers in each
tray as well as the manual feed tray.
The error message in the log is "13.16 PAPER JAM IN INPUT DEVICE" and
"13.32 PAPER JAM IN INPUT DEVICE."
The printer control panel says "13.20 PAPER JAM CHECK REAR DOOR THEN
OPEN AND CLOSE TOP COVER."
The paper stops as it exits to the top of the printer with about 1.5
inches out.
I'm ashamed to admit that it didn't occur to me to try it again with
the old fuser, and that printer's 100 miles from me. Sheez!!
The printer prints single sided just fine. I printed 50 or 60 sheets
with no jams. It won't duplex one.
thx . . . frank

I am confused by the 13.16 and 13.32 errors, do you have an optional input
device attached? Could be alarge multipurpose tray adaptor or similar.
In any event I would remove all optional accesories from the printer (if there
are any) except the duplexer and see what difference it makes.
These 2 errors could however be of no relevance.
As you have implied, reverting to the old fuser would have been valuable,
fusers can cause problems when duplexing that may not show up when simplexing.
I am assuming that the paper is being partly delivered to the normal top/front
output tray and that the rear output tray (face up tray) is closed, this
printer cannot duplex with the face up tray open. Are you sure the rear cover
(face up tray) is correctly installed, the plastic knobs at each side must be
correctly in their sockets or the diverter will not operate correctly.
If the problem is not the fuser or face up tray then it almost certainly has to
be a paper sensor in the duplex path. Maybe one of the levers (flags) which are
operated by the paper as it moves through the printer is not free to move. The
jam is a false jam since the paper has started to emerge from the printer and
this is usually a sensor flag that is stuck.
