I'm using win98 se, with an HP Deskjet 612C printer.
Problem:
I go to print out a document, the software functions normally, I
select the desired print options and hit 'print'. The printer begins
whirring, etc, as per usual. Just before a sheet of paper is fed, the
printer stops. The 'paper feed'/resume light flashes. I then get an
error stating: "Printer Not Responding, Attempting to send data to the
printer and the printer is not responding." I am then given the option
to cancel, retry or trouble shoot.
Things I've tried:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling printer drivers and software.
- Updating to newest driver version
- Reformatting computer completely
- Replacing printer cable
- Checked power connections, paper jams, and ink level.
If anyone has any advice to offer on something else to try I'd be very
appreciative. Thanks
