hp versus canon aio laser

Hi all

Looking to purchase either the HP 2840 or the Canon Imageclas
MF8170c. Have read intensively on both and just want some objectiv
opinions if anyone can help. Thanks

Have you considered the offerings from Epson, Xerox and OKI?
 
They are pretty much the same except for the memory cards and price.
Office Max is closing out the 8170C at a great price(400) waiting on the
MF8180C.
I believe Canon makes the print engine in the HP.
So reliability will be great.
The Epsons seem to have a problem after about 1500 pages,do not know
specifics but see many coming back during that time frame.
OKI does not make a MFP as far as I know.

I havent had an OKI machine but there are people on here who are quite
keen on them.
