HP PSC 750 - Scanner failure

Hi,

I'm trying to update my HP PSC 750 printer; I have downloaded the Windows XP
file from HP web site, I have followed all the instructions from HP web site
(clean the screen, plug it straight in the wall socket...), but I still have
the message 'Scanner failure, Turn off the power and then on again'.
Printing is fine, only copying and scanning are the problems, I've always
have the same error message.

Please help.

Contact HP who can probably diagnose if a hardware failure has occurred.

All sorted; I've just had to clean the mirror & bulb
