went to scan pic said failed do tomissing software library reinstalled driver
still says same thing

Did you connect this printer to your PC BEFORE installing the software?
If you did, then you'll have to start all over again. Install the software
first and during the installation process it will tell you when to connect
it and when to turn it on. It seems obvious that the Twain drivers for
the scanner are not installed.
