I understand 1200 series is a recent model, perhaps, of ?6 months. Then it
would seem that the ink cartridges would have run empty by now, always
remembering that those bundled with the machine contain pitifully small
amount of that expensive stuff. Is there not some indicator on the control
panel to show you the ink status? My 2000 series gives a very persistent
reminder in my Notification Area long before the ink actually runs dry.
When that moment comes, the prints get erratic rather abruptly, so don't
imagine you can tell its coming by watching out for gradual fading away of
the prints!

When I installed the printer it sort of worked fine until about two months
ago when it started to only print out the first half of a page (no matter
how big the file was) and then stopping and an error message pooping up
saying that the printer couldnt complete printing. My laptop is brand new,
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a half dozen times, and I can't
even get a test page printed out because it wont even print that out. Help!
