HP Printer

I just received a new HP OfficeJet D-145 in exchange for an older model. Put it together and now I get error message on Panel "No Printhead" Insert black print cartridge. Let me say the print cartrige are new (black and color) and the machine is brand new. Can anyone out there really be a good neighbor (wherever youj are) and solve this problem for me
Your help and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I need your help.

The computer is just passing along the message that the printer is sending.
Either something's not inserted properly, you're missing a piece, or there's
something else wrong with the printer.

It might also be a software issue. You might want to try the printer on
another computer and see if you get the same message. If you do, then just
return the printer.

Did you remove the tape from the cartridge before installing it?
