I have just bought a secondhand Kyocera FS-600 (the delights of Ebay!).
When I power it up the on line and data lights go on for a bit, all the
lights go on in succession, then go out leaving the 'cassette' and 'jam'
lights flashing. Naturally I can't print anything. I've opened all the
hatches I can, and it does it with paper loaded and without.
I also took the toner out to see if there was anything I could see with
it removed, put it back in, and now the toner light is always on unless
I lift the front panel up very slightly.
I've hunted around online for manuals, but the FS-600 doesn't even
appear in Kyocera's legacy section!
Any ideas?

Welocome to the club, though my printer worked for a while at first. I
stripped it down, and cleaned all the gears etc. then put it back
togther again...I suspect the toner cartridge holder connectors are
dodgy but cant say for sure.
It prints now, but with ghost images and sounds like its in a lot of
pain when printing...what a waste of money (I bought 3 toner
cartridges as well)...shame.
I managed to find a user manual from their American website, but it
doesnt go into fault fixing, though it does tell you what
flashing/blinking light combinations mean.
Don't rush out and buy more toner yet.
