Got an F380 which I'm trying to re-install.

Trouble is even though I've uninstalled all previous software, and had
a dig around the registry, it still wont install because it says
'Newer version of software is already installed'.

Any ideas?

For the HP 1210 3 in 1 printer I used HpAiOScrubber_v2038.exe downloaded
from HP Support to remove the last vestiges of an earlier installation.

Dont think this works with the F380.....

Most printer drivers contain an awfully large number of registry and
file entries, and it is nearly impossible to manual remove them all.
For all-in-one units it is considerably worse still. Some printer
drivers offer a uninstall log or file which you can run. These are
sometimes found in the temp folder.

Other times, you may need to download a removal tool from the
manufacturer which may be either on the driver CD or online.

Sometimes you have to solicit help from tech support for such a file or
listing. It is a bit of a mess.
