HP printer not responding to XP

I have a HP895cxi printer that has stop respoding--
Printer is OK, so the system is not sending---I have
uninstalled and reinstalled with downloaded drivers for
XP and still nothing

I have just a LaserJet 6p and everything else is
printing except these labels that sends my printer to
orange everytime?

Your printer port"s resource settings may have changed.
YOu can check that by going into your system tab in
control panel, then opening the device manager (you have
to go to the "hardware" box first). Look for the printer
port tab and open the "properties" box. Once you are
there, look for the "resources" tab and check to see what
the Input-Output port address is. It probably was
hijacked by some other device included in XP, which will
cause a conflict that can disable your printer port. I
have the same problem with my computer, and I'm loking
for a solution now.
