My Photosmart 2575 is connected via network to my computer.
At beginning, it was scanning for a possible memory card placed in the
build in card reder in the 2575. When it did found one, it made it to
a mapped drive itself.
After about 3 rebbots of the computer, the drive (card in the card
reader) was not searched for and also not found and since then I can
not connect to the card any more. This is not a problem, but since
this time every time I open the windows explorer einther to search for
something or even to save some file etc, it is very, very slow , the
flashlight comes up trying to search what ever for some additional
drives etc.
How can I get rid of that, or how can I stop it permanently to search
for the now lost drive in form of a memory card in the card reader?
I tried to take the card out, it makes no difffeence. It seems that it
tries to connect to the lost mapped drive again and again, but it
cannot find it, I do not need the mapped drive, so could do well
without.
