Hi I'm using W2k and few HP LJ printers 4000/4050/4100.
After installing proper drivers I don't see PCL fonts which are "bult"
in printer(for example Helvetica Narrow). I need that during
application developmnet process.
How to make them available for Word and other applications

1. for an application to be able to use a font on the printer, the
application must know how to select the font. With Windows applications,
this pretty well means you have to have the corresponding font installed on
your computer.

2. fonts are intellectual property and one normally pays a royalty for using
them. The printer manufacturer presumably paid this royalty. Windows and
some appplications come with some fonts, which are either royalty free or
for which the software manufacturer has already paid the royalty/license
fee.

3. if you do a search (e.g. on Google) for helvetica, you'll find several
places where you can purchase the various Helvetica fonts for installing on
your computer.

4. the Arial font is very similar to the Helvetica font.
