This is a first...as in it has never happened before. My HP Pavilion
Notebook won't wake up, I purchased it a year or so ago and nothing has ever
gone wrong until just recently. It's like, I know that when I try to turn it
on all that I get it the sleeping sign "ZZZZZ..." but other than that I can't
get it to do anything. The little light that tells you if it is on only
flashes when you push the button to turn it on and I can't figure out what is
wrong with it. I don't think that it is the battery because I have it
constantly charged to a wall plug-in. I am desperate for suggestions!!! I
really don't want to have to pay for the PC to be fixed again...

I do not know about what HP tells its users about batteries but, Dell
says to not keep the battery in the computer when on AC power. It
degrades the battery

Ok Thank you... a new battery is better than paying for the whole thing to
get fixed when it didn't doesn't need it. : )
